COMMENTARY: GROSS HYPOCRISY BY SKEPTICAL MAGICIANS - WHO WOULD NOT PASS THE SAME TESTS APPLIED TO PHYSICAL MEDIUMS
There are a couple of high-flying closed minded aggressive skeptical magicians - J.Zwinge Randi, Derrin Brown and others like them - who keep on insisting that magicians can do the same things that a physical materialization medium can do. But when I challenge skeptical magicians to produce the same phenomena as physical mediums after being subjected to the same restrictions that physical mediums face, they run away like scared rabbits.

Remember, these magicians said they can duplicate anything mediums/psychics can do - ABSOLUTE RUBBISH! What magician or escape artist would be willing to demonstrate in a room outside his control, where he and every one else is thoroughly searched (including with a metal detector) gagged and secured into a heavy chair with straps and one way cable ties that can only be cut with metal clippers. His assistant would be removed from his side and have his hands held throughout the session. In total darkness the magician would need to extract himself from his one-way binds and return to them- not once but several times to be bound and in trance each time the red light is turned on. TRIBUTE TO PROFESSOR DAVID FONTANA –
who crossed over last week. He was the Chair of the Survival Research Committee of the Society for Psychical Research and with his close friends the late Montague Keen and the late Arthur Ellison investigated the Scole Experiment and co-wrote the very favourable Scole Report- an important scientific investigation of physical mediumship. TRIBUTE TO TOM HARRISON who also died this week.
Between 1946 and 1954 Tom Harrison witnessed 1500 solid ectoplasmic materializations in good red light through his home circle with his mother, Minnie Harrison, as the medium. All the spirit people were accepted by relatives or close friends who came as guest sitters. ARE WOMEN MORE SPIRITUAL THAN MEN? This week I had a debate with a couple of spiritual teachers about this subject. When I first started to systematically investigate the afterlife in 1990 - there were three males out of around 100 in almost every spiritual group we were in. The only time I saw males equaling females was when Wendy and I were in India some years ago visiting Sai Baba, the Indian Guru. True, males have a lot more of the hormone testosterone - which tends to promote the aggression needed for hunting- sports and booze. So would it be unreasonable to suggest that in the higher places there would be many more females waiting for their partners to advance to their level?

QUESTION: WHAT HAPPENS TO CHILDREN WHEN THEY DIE AT A YOUNG AGE?
"You want to know something further about the children who come over? You remember at first you were quite surprised when I described your [deceased] brother John to you, and did not recognize him when I told you he was a grown-up man; you had always thought of him as still remaining a little child.

He looks only about my age: of course in earth-life he would have been over forty. Here little ones grow up but never become old, for they have no cares and worries nor the pains of a material body to trouble them. Many women here care for these little ones. Some have left children on earth they loved; others, the childless, who love children, look after them. Every child, even if unwanted on earth, can find a loving mother here.

Many an earth-mother comes over at night when her body sleeps to see her baby, and though with her limited conscious mind she may think of it as an infant always, her spirit-mind knows the facts, as she will recognize when she herself comes here permanently."

QUESTION - 'BEING OF LIGHT': Hello Victor, can you tell me something I've been thinking about for a long time - are we going to keep the human form we have forever?

Victor: Once we attain a very high level of spirituality, there is no purpose for us to keep the human form. This human form will have served its purpose to help us to evolve and advance in MIND and SPIRIT. But when we reach a very high level of spirituality, according to highly credible transmitted information, we change our image to become a 'Being of Light'. This 'being-of-light' - will be more useful to us than a 'human' form- we will have very high intelligence, expanded consciousness, sharpest memory and other powers that we cannot even begin to understand. So, look forward to becoming a beautiful being of light - it means you will be hugely spiritually advanced. In Claude's book (see above) the communicator explains:
" Suppose I had to leave the third Plane and to go to the fifth, sixth, or seventh Plane (for good I mean, not for a visit). I know then my entire etheric body would undergo a change: the atoms would be of a still lighter kind, because the nearer I go to the God-force, or Life-force, the more actual Life-force there is running through my body and holding those atoms together. Because of this greater force in the higher spheres we would require less chemical matter."

QUESTION - CONTACT WITH 'ALIENS' POSSIBLE?: is it possible for a really good medium to make contact with "aliens" -beings who live in the universe out there somewhere?

Victor: Interesting you should ask that because just recently the United Nations organized some committee to deal with non-human intelligent beings from space. Given the immensity of the universe, intelligent beings must exist - something that most scientists in many countries agree with these days. Secondly, at least some of these beings would be hugely technologically advanced and would be capable of telepathy and materialization and de-materialization of themselves and their space vehicle at will. If some humans on earth are capable of telepathy - as I am under certain conditions - then it would be very easy to accept space beings having mastered telepathy. This means that a gifted medium with specific telepathic and clairvoyance gifts could communicate with aliens. My personal experience: I knew a highly private, but highly gifted (non-commercial medium) from Manly, Sydney (Ms. M. J.) some 12 years ago. She was spiritually advanced, very honest, of excellent character, very credible, most reliable and someone who always wanted to keep the amazing experiences she had to herself. But just before she died she told me that she was having telepathic communication with space beings - she even met one of them. She described them to be not dissimilar to the photo top, left. She believed that they do NOT intend to harm anyone on Earth and are spiritually advanced. Now I have an automatic 'presumption of fraud' when people tell me things that cannot be independently substantiated. But this lady was a very special person and I trusted her completely. Yes, given ideal circumstances, it is possible to make contact with aliens! One day in the future it will be made public by the United Nations.

CLINT EASTWOOD'S BLOCKBUSTER MOVIE
'HEREAFTER' is now playing in the USA- (in Australia not until February) and creating a huge amount of interest in the afterlife. My friends in New York, Ken and Roberto are saying that it is a must see!! Apparently one of the characters says "the evidence for the afterlife is now scientific"- and even in the preview you can see Google being used to find information about the afterlife.
Bob Ginsberg of The Forever Family Foundation writes: " Saw the movie, and it is refreshing to finally see a film about NDEs and the afterlife that doesn't have The Exorcist music playing in the background. Also interesting how Google has now taken the place of clergy for those who seek answers to life after death." Sadly for many clergy (but not our good friends who read the Ground of Faith) that is true these days!

QUESTION: Do you believe that the Angels rebelled against God and those who rebelled became devils? Sounds a bit far fetched to me Victor. Rabovich, Russia.

Victor: The human mind in the twenty first century is vastly different to what the human mind was thousands of years ago. At the time when this myth was written people’s knowledge was fairly primitive. They were uninformed and highly superstitious. Nobody really knows anything with accuracy about 'Angels' and it becomes difficult to define. An angel is supposedly vibrating energy of intense light with great depth of consciousness – connected with everything in the universe. We're informed they were are more spiritually advanced than the human species. If God is the the ultimate supreme positive vibrating energy consciousness of light as quantum physics implies, the Angels do not see God. And certainly it would be impossible for vibrating energy of intense light to 'rebel' against the collective source of all light. The twenty first century human mind demands EVIDENCE, demands OBJECTIVE AUTHORITY and demands CREDIBILITY .

'There is an afterlife!': PROFESSOR HENRY SIDGWICK (1838-1900)- one of the great pioneers of afterlife-investigations. He was a Professor of Moral Philosophy at Cambridge. Initially an open minded skeptic, he took a leading part in testing many famous mediums, including Dr Henry Slade, Eusapia Paladino, Mrs Leonore Piper. Through these experiments he was convinced that there is an afterlife and became president of the Society of Psychical Research. After he died he communicated through a Mrs Thompson in a very characteristic manner in the presence of Mr Piddington. Other messages were received through the hand of Mrs Verrall.

One of the interesting question put to James in the interview was
" Do you think that, for a highly trained magician, is easy to expose fake mediums and psychics?"

James answered: "No I do not think that it is necessarily easy for a highly trained magician to expose all fake mediums and psychics because some of those mediums/psychics are highly experienced in the art of magic and conjuring themselves. Also it must be remembered and realized that some 'so called' mediums and psychics are deluding themselves without intent or realizing it."

PUBLIC MEETING: VICTOR will be the guest speaker for DOWSERS SOCIETY OF N.S.W.: on November 21st, 2010 2 PM, at the Community Hall, 44 Gladesville Road, Hunters Hill (corner of Ryde Rd). He will present evidence for the existence of the afterlife putting emphasis on materializations of medium David Thompson. Victor says that the afterlife evidence is now objective and repeatable. During the materializations, he converses with afterlife intelligences. He also witnessed some seventy reunions of those from the afterlife with their loved ones sitting in the sessions. Victor will present simple steps which he says will allow you to reach the Realm of the Light on crossing over.
