COMMENTARY: SCIENCE EXPLAINS MATERIALIZATIONS: Some of you would know that my partner Wendy and I, who are both professionally qualified in Scientific Method and Psychology, have been attending and investigating David Thompson's materializations for almost five years now. We need to remember that it was materializations which convinced some of the greatest scientists this world has ever seen of the existence of the afterlife. I can tell you from personal experience that even if you believe in the afterlife nothing can prepare you for the reality of that first experience of materialization. On more than seventy occasions we have seen guests to the circle speaking directly with and touching their loved ones from the spirit world. They share intimate memories and those in spirit give evidence that they know what is happening in the lives of their loved ones. In David's demonstrations in Perth, Western Australia, last weekend a young man who had committed suicide at age 16 returned to talk with his mother. Two fathers returned to talk with their daughters giving absolute proof of their identity. Another young man materialized and gave wonderful evidence of his identity to his mother and aunty.

Why is this not front page news? Is there any discovery more important than the certainty that we all survive death? I have challenged the closed minded skeptics from the U.S. and the U.K and Europe and elsewhere - to state what possible intervening variables are not being controlled in David Thompson's experiments.

The Circle members are highly intelligent professionals who are not going to waste hours of their time every week for many years in anything that is not 100% genuine. We do know professionally what to control for the results to be valid. No professional has made any suggestion as to how our controls could be improved or how the results we get could possibly have been obtained by fraud. This means that our results are inevitably significantly valid. See next item:-

SCIENTIST EXPLAINS MATERIALIZATION Many people are puzzled by materializations and want to know whether there is a scientific explanation. For the purpose of the record, here is a technical scientific description of materialization which many people have found most useful.

"Through transubstantiation (the increasing or decreasing of the speed of the swirling of the atom), an object could materialize or dematerialize. Dematerializations is not dissolution. A dematerialized object would be invisible and intangible. But it would be no less real than it was. The object would simply have changed in substance to become 'super-physical'. The speed of light is the limit of the physical universe. It could be described as the 'boundary' of our world. Trans-substantiation would take an object through this light-barrier and into the realm of the super-physical. The light-barrier would be the dividing line between the physical and the super-physical. It would demarcate the natural from the supernormal.' SPIRIT LIGHTS IN FELIX CIRCLE
Many older reports of physical mediumship contained reports of "spirit lights" which had no material cause appearing in experimental sittings. They were a dramatic feature of the Scole experiment. Now they have been reported again by an independent witness who sat with the Felix Circle in Germany (physical medium Kai Meugge, pictured top left) who write: "Creation of Spirit lights to the great joy of the sitters. Some times a wide illuminated field, and some time the light was concentrated and had a diameter of about 1.5 cm. It was a concentrated violet light, seemingly made of plasma found in the atmosphere. It was going up and down, but also came close to our faces. This phenomenon lasted approximately 5 to 10 minutes. We were all encouraging the Spirits and were applauding. Also on the same blog are recent photos of ectoplasm, that mysterious substance produced by physical mediums that allows materialization. Dr J. Soerderling was given permission to take the photos during five periods of five seconds when red light was allowed. WHY IS DEATH FEARED? I found that Catholics - perhaps more than others - fear death because of the way they were threatened with hellfire every week when they went to Church on Sundays. In my very young years hellfire was preached very often. We would sit watching priests high above us on the pulpit raising their voices with anger telling us that those who 'die in mortal sin' will burn forever in hell. Mortal sin included masturbation, sex before marriage and eating meat on Fridays. The Catholic priests used to think that FEAR would keep people loyal to the Church. Not so! Millions left the Church and millions more are still leaving because of the unnecessary use of FEAR. Individual priests try to keep quiet about it but the official Catholic Church line is still that anyone who divorces and remarries, anyone who has same sex relations, anyone who uses contraception and dies in mortal sin will go to hell for all eternity. Of course, these days, very few educated Catholics take the hell-fire sermons seriously but many old timers are terrified of being judged and condemned to eternal damnation. Time for the present Pope to effect a new Catholic reformation - to throw out nonsense and make theology compatible with the empirically elicited afterlife information.

WILL I SEE MY LOVED ONE WHEN I CROSS OVER?
a number of people ask me this question regularly: - : where there is heart-to-heart connection, guaranteed - all things being equal - there will be a happy reunion when you cross over. But you also have to know that we are informed from highly credible afterlife teachers that we do leave our bodies every night and visit our loved ones. We do not remember these visits (only very few do apparently) - because in most instances, these memories could interfere with our decisions, our free will, and our plans for our life on earth. Further, those who love us and are on the other side, do visit us regularly - to help us. So be patient. Inevitably, if you are a good average person with an open minded you will be reunited with your loved ones on crossing over.

A DRAMATISATION OF A VISIT TO THE HEREAFTER (www.rulof.org)

'HEAVENLY LAZINESS': information transmitted from the afterlife tells us that there is a very large percentage of people - usually good average, honest people - who end up in the middle of the third realm of the Light on crossing over. They actually make it to the realm of the Light, which is great. BUT, we are informed, some just want to enjoy their leisure all the time without doing any voluntary work. People there can make a most valuable spiritual contribution: they can help those who need help on crossing over, look after those who cross over as children, work on scientific projects, teach those less spiritually advanced and so on. Helping others, we are told, is the way that we can raise our awareness and increase our happiness. Those of us who start doing volunteer work now will be at a huge advantage of having an established habit of helping others when we cross over. A higher level of happiness and satisfaction in a superior environment is assured!

THE CATHOLIC CHURCH: Sister Mary Mackillop - on Sunday to made the first Australian 'saint'. A new documentary claims she was expelled from the Catholic Church because she make a complaint about a Father Keating of Kapunda, was molesting children at the local church school. Many years later, there was a lobby to get her back into the Church. That was some 100 years ago. To-day, the Church is still battling with pedophilia. The remedy? Abolish celibacy and secrecy. Time for the Church to get really serious about this ubiquitous problem.


DO NOT BE FOOLED There are charlatans, quacks and cheats out there PRETENDING to be psychics and mediums. Do NOT waste your hard earned income on cheats and quacks calling themselves 'phone-psychics' or 'phone-mediums' all at a price. My strong suggestion is you must get confirmation from others who used a particular medium - that the medium is genuine. In my investigations over the years I found cheats and tricksters trying to take money - they were NOT MEDIUMS at all - they were involved in criminal acts - fraudulently trying to squeeze money out of decent, vulnerable people. DON'T become a victim!
