COMMENTARY:
REPORT FROM IRELAND THAT SHOCKED THE
WORLD- BIG PROBLEMS FOR THE CATHOLIC CHURCH
The 2600-page report by Ireland's Commission to Inquire
Into Child Abuse found rape was endemic in more than
250 Irish-Catholic care institutions from the 1930s
to the 1990s, and the church protected pedophiles from
prosecution. Victims groups say the culture of abuse
and cruelty in Catholic institutions in Australia last
century could have been as shocking as that revealed
in a nine-year Irish commission's report. This adds
to the sorry saga of the Catholic Church in America
where over a billion dollars was paid out to American
victims of pedophilia. At the same time Irish Bishop
Pat Buckley has confessed that some 500 of his priests
to-day are having regular sex, willfully exploiting
their power, their status and their position over women.
Surely with all this evidence it is time for the Catholic
Church to end its insistence on celibacy and readmit
married priests into the church. There is nothing in
the Bible that one has to be celibate to do religious
work. There are other Christian organizations where
their priests and Christian Ministers are allowed to
get married. There has to be more attention given to
the human needs of the clergy. This would need a directive
from the Vatican about the matter. Of course, the more
skeptical would say no Pope would ever do that. In the
meantime, you have hundreds and thousands of priests
around the world abusing their position to satisfy their
physical needs exploiting women and children with or
without the Pope’s blessing. Unaddressed
this whole issue will continue to create disharmony
within the Catholic Church and divert energy, resources
and attention away from the critical issues that face

MATERIALISM: has

to-day. No one is saying you can't enjoy a reasonable
standard of living. Of course you can- but not at the
expense of others or the environment. When man wilfully
ignores the spiritual aspect of the human condition
and allows materialism to penetrate the mind and the
heart and dominate human conduct - it is time
for the materialist to urgently reassess his life. Man
is NOT a freak of nature as the materialists claim.
My 21 years of afterlife research taught me in absolute
terms that the afterlife has huge consequences, that
the afterlife exists and we keep on living in an afterlife
dimension. I also discovered that those extreme materialists
who obstinately refuse to accept the spiritual aspect
of the human condition will fare very badly in the afterlife.
Some enter into mental confusion on crossing over. They
know a fundamental shift has taken place, but they continue
to insist that they are not 'dead' and wonder why no-body
talks to them. This confusion could last "for hundreds
- even thousands of years!" Ahhhh!

Victor: That's a 'classic non-sequitur'
- 'it doesn't follow.' First, for anyone to make an
objection, one has to state the experiment - without
identifying the experiment, one cannot know what problems
the experiment had, if any. To my knowledge, there
has not been one scientist or a surgeon or anybody
else in the world who was able to properly duplicate
a full Near Death Experience (NDE). Researchers into
NDE's have shown for example, that the NDE to the
patient was so real that the patient had a permanent
change in his/her thinking about the afterlife - something
that does not happen with a purely clinical medical
procedure. No one to my knowledge was able to duplicate
an NDE where the blind could see or where crossed
over loved ones appeared to the patient or where the
patient came back with knowledge he/she did not know
before. The Pam Reynolds case is a critical which
so many tried to attack, but the facts remain unrebutted.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DIE?
Michael Tymn's wonderful article ' What is the Second
Death?' is a MUST READ. It contains account after
account of what happens in the first stages of arriving
in the world of spirit when the soul undergoes a period
of confusion; "It may be only of a few hours,
and it may be of several months, or even years,"
wrote Alan
Kardec. "Those with whom it lasts the least
are they who, during the earthly life, have identified
themselves most closely with their future state, because
they are soonest able to understand their new situation."
This account of one of the victims on the Titanic
is just one of many equally fascinating:
' Communicating to his daughter, Estelle, [W.T.]
Stead recalled that his first awareness that he
had passed over was when he found a number of deceased
friends with him. "I knew it suddenly and was
a trifle alarmed," he communicated. "Practically
instantaneously I found myself looking for myself.
Just a moment of agitation, momentarily only, and
then the full and glorious realization that all I
had learnt was true."
All of the victims seemed to gather
in one place as their bodies floated in the ocean
below. Some of them were mental wrecks, wondering
if they would be taken to meet their Maker and what
their sentences would be, while others were more concerned
with loved ones left behind. There were a number,
however, who seemed more concerned about their valuables
that went down with the ship.
After all of the victims gathered
together, they seemed to rise vertically into the
air at a terrific speed, as if they were all standing
on a platform. "I cannot tell how long our journey
lasted, nor how far from the earth we were when we
arrived, but it was a gloriously beautiful arrival.
It was like walking from your own English winter gloom
into the radiance of an Indian sky. There was all
brightness and beauty." '
ON EVIDENCE: THEORY v PRACTICE:
why is it that traditional conservative materialist
physicists give themselves
unrestricted licence to postulate bizarre speculation
about the universe – theories for which they
can never obtain validation. But when it comes to
actual experimenting in a situation where they can
converse with afterlife intelligences, they freak
out. But notice, they DO NOT investigate! They fail
to put into practice the two most critical elements
of empiricism: objectivity and repeatability.

literally “exteriorized substance” was coined
by Professor Charles Richet, Professor of Physiology at
the Sorbonne in Paris, a winner of the Nobel Prize and

it for thirty years. Richet's conclusion was: There is
ample proof that experimental materialization (ectoplasmic)
should take definite rank as a scientific fact. Assuredly
we do not understand it. It is very absurd, if a truth
can be absurd (Richet 1927: 112). In its primary stage
he found that it is invisible and intangible but even
then it can be photographed by infrared rays and weighed.
In its secondary stage it becomes either vaporous or liquid
or solid, with a smell somewhat akin to ozone. In its
final stages, when it can be seen and felt, it has the
appearance of muslin and feels like a mass of cobwebs.
At other times it is moist and cold and, on rare occasions,
dry and hard. Its temperature is usually about 40 degrees
Fahrenheit (Butler 1947: 75) which accounts for the observation
of drop of temperature around physical phenomena. Baron
Von Schrenck-Notzing, a Munich physician, showed that
ectoplasm is composed of leucocytes—white or colorless
blood cells—and epithelial cells—those from

ENGLISH ANTI-MEDIUM LEGISLATION
A year ago new consumer laws were introduced in the UK
that many feared would impact heavily on mediums. The
legislation that replaced the Fraudulent Mediums Act was
widely interpreted as forcing psychics to put up a disclaimer
that what they did was for "entertainment" purposes
only and that they were not attempting to mislead the
public. One year on it seems that the legislation has
had no effect. There have been no prosecutions and the
telephone psychic hotlines are still preying on the vulnerable.

Victor: some of the lessons
to learn in this life on physical earth is unconditional
love, unconditional forgiveness, detachment and tolerance.
Now, as for skin color, one has to understand
that tolerance of people with different color skin is
one of the lessons we have to learn. Besides, empirically
elicited information transmitted from the afterlife tells
us that in different lifetimes we were very likely to
have had different colored skin ourselves. But the key
issue is that in the afterlife, as we spiritually progress,
there will be issue with skin color. The intensity of
our LIGHT will be the key factor. The brighter the light,
the more spiritually evolved we’d be – and
the better conditions we’d have. As we continue
to progress we’ll eventually become beings of light
without human form - and certainly without skin color.
