COMMENTARY: ASK FOR EVIDENCE. "Storefront psychics," psychic phone lines, dubious channellers and quack tarot readers make it difficult for uninformed people to take the paranormal seriously. Over the last twenty years or so I have been warning my subscribers - and others - to be extremely cautious if or when they decide to go to a "psychic" for a reading and not to confuse psychics with mediums. There are some excellent psychics and excellent mediums doing wonderful work and service.

But there are also too many working without proper development. If you are having a reading it is really important to ask yourself whether the information being given could apply to anyone or whether it is really specific to you. Researchers have found that many people can be fooled by a series of statements like "You are very creative but sometimes feel insecure" which apply to 99% of people. I myself found eight out of ten psychics I had readings with were not gifted at all. One of them even did a chart for me spending a lot of time on it - but it had no relevance at all to my life.

Similarly when it comes to mediumship. A statement like "I have a mother figure here who says she loves you and that you are thinking of traveling" is not evidence. Serious investigators of mediumship make sure not to "feed the medium" by giving unnecessary information or responses. And they score each piece of information on whether it is detailed, correct for you and whether it could equally apply to someone else. So be open but not credulous and ask for evidence.

SCIENCE SHOWS PSYCHIC ABILITIES DO EXIST
In themselves psychic abilities do not prove the afterlife. But they are supportive evidence, demonstrating forces which reductionist science cannot explain and therefore showing its limitations. They are also abilities frequently demonstrated by people who have near-death experiences and spiritual experiences.

Parapsychological research demonstrates the existence of five major psychic abilities, called "The Big 5":
Precognition is an alleged psychic ability to predict the future. It sometimes comes as a vision, a mental flash or a dream.
Telepathy refers to mind-reading or mind-to-mind communication. It literally means 'distant feeling'.
Clairvoyance is the psychic ability to perceive remote places, objects or people. A scientific term for clairvoyance is 'Remote Viewing'.
Psychokinesis or in short "PK" is the ability to move objects with the power of the mind only.
Healing is a spiritual practice that may afford gradual relief from pain or sickness, and sometimes brings about sudden 'miracle cures'.

XENOGLOSSY- SPEAKING A LANGUAGE NOT LEARNED - after an accident or medical operation.
According to recent news reports there has been another case of the strange phenomenon of Xenoglossy- the ability to speak a language never learned (See chapter 25).

The unnamed girl, who comes from the town of Knin in Croatia, had just begun to study German before an accident sent her into a coma. Though she had been shaky in the basic language when she went under, when she came back out of the coma she was fluent in German, and could no longer understand or speak her native language, Croatian.

“In earlier times this would have been referred to as a miracle, we prefer to think that there must be a logical explanation – its just that we haven’t found it yet,” Dr. Mijo Milas, a psychiatric expert consulted about the case, said. “There are references to cases where people who have been seriously ill and perhaps in a coma have woken up being able to speak other languages – sometimes even the Biblical languages such as that spoken in old Babylon or Egypt – at the moment though any speculation would remain just that – speculation – so it’s better to continue tests until we actually know something.”

" Over the past week or so my Aunt has been coming into my EVP sessions saying hello to me even though she was still very much alive and well. But after she came in a few times I called up my mom to tell her that I think my aunt is going to die sometime within the next few days. Victor: Information transmitted from the afterlife tells us that under normal conditions in the Third Realm of the Light and realization, one has only to THINK he/she is in a certain place, and in a matter of a couple of seconds one gets there - no planes, no automobiles, no ships, no trains. In fact you can go to any part of the world by using your MIND. Mind in the afterlife dimension is 'king'.

A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE - and a WARNING to ALL:: Afterlife communication: I mentioned in a recent newsletter that "those who were reasonable will go to the realm of the light – a place hugely more beautiful than on earth – but only for those who earned it". Not all who cross over will go to the realm of the light. I knew of a former part-time communist espionage agent who worked as an Ambassador in Canberra. He communicated with me from the afterlife and part of the conversation was that he wanted 'forgiveness' from those he had harmed while alive. He said he was working to get out of what he described as the most heinous 'slummish, dirty area' ; he found himself in 'horrible and terrible unbearable conditions' immediately after crossing over - a terrible place where he could be caught for hundreds- even thousands of years by our time.

It was a huge shock to him since while he was alive he lived in an up-market residence, drove a luxury German auto and was someone who enjoyed high rank mixing with the wealthy and the politically powerful. I knew of his 'espionage' work, from among other things, remote viewing– and he was certainly not one of the ‘average good folk.’ Those who go out of their way to do dirty work to wilfully adversely affect the innocent are in for a huge rude awakening on crossing over. This is a warning to all – with absolute certainty, that we are accountable and on crossing over - justice is swift and immediate without lawyers to defend you, without delay, without the ‘faulty’ human condition to slow things down. It appears that those who are into consistent selfishness and occasional cruelty will at best find themselves living in terrible conditions for a long, long time.


ON EVIDENCE: Do you have the moral courage to answer this simple question truthfully? If there is an inconsistency between science and theology, which one prevails? Inevitably, science prevail and will ALWAYS prevail. Why? Because science is OBJECTIVE and theology is SUBJECTIVE (a Churchian personal belief which cannot be independently supported and is subject to fundamental error). If you have the honesty and integrity to accept that objectivity overrides subjectivity, then if you are a searcher for the truth, start studying how all beliefs in the BIble came about. Research where the religious documents came from - a good start. Compare anything stated in the Bible with what science has to say. Galileo did that, and he knocked out the theological belief that the sun revolved around the earth. "Science", he said, "does NOT make mistakes." It took the Church more than 300 years to admit their theology was wrong.



ALL RELIGIONS CAME ABOUT FROM ‘MEDIUMSHIP’ Zorastrianism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hindusim, Shintoism and other religions came about when someone heard a voice. Hearing voices from the afterlife – what is called clairaudience – gave rise to powerful religions. Jesus was the most advanced being we are informed. He was also a master-healer, a medium, a psychic and a teacher. But he NEVER stated he was God. According to experts Zoroaster, the Prophet who lived hundreds of years before the emergence of Christianity received spiritual writings – known as the Avesta Text from the afterlife. Mohammed claimed that he heard the voice of Archangel Michael telling him what to do. Judaism had the medium Moses. Very interesting that Moses' spirit who talked to him was Yahweh. More interesting, Yahweh means ‘Rain Cloud’ – very similar to Red Indian guides’ names. We have to be careful how to interpret information. Some writers uninformed in the paranormal erroneously used to call a spirit who communicated through his medium ‘god’. Research is necessary to remove the darkness from hundreds of years of extreme superstition which we also have to deal with these days. More about this fascinating topic later on.
