COMMENTARY: DO WE PLAN OUR LIVES? While most people are familiar with Near-Death Experiences (NDE), we are only now beginning to systematically investigate the incidence of Pre-Birth Experiences (PBEs).
While some people use the term pre-birth experiences to describe memories of life in the womb before birth, others use the term to describe a spiritual pre-existence, choosing their parents, and working with guides and spiritual masters to decide the challenges they will face in the coming lifetime. Some describe being offered a choice of three possible lives with an explanation of how each would help their soul growth. And most fascinating of all, some like Christian Sundberg, (next item) describe the process by which they are prepared to be incarnated.
Until recently many of the accounts of these memories have been anecdotal - most frequently children telling their parents details of having chosen them, or which of their relatives had accompanied them to Earth, or of having met deceased relatives in heaven before they were born. But while one or two cases can be dismissed as "anecdotes" thousands of cases collected by serious researchers are data.
These memories provide us with profound insights. They indicate that our lives are eternal and that rather than being victims of fate we choose our life circumstances for spiritual growth.
CHRISTIAN SUNDBERG: PRE-BIRTH EXPERIENCE, LIFE BEFORE INCARNATION, AND WHY WE COME TO EARTH
After he began remembering the experiences that led him to choose to reincarnate on Earth, Christian took up a meditation practice and experienced a personal awakening journey. Life coach Christine Dolahan claims that she recalled seeing buildings where souls were 'training' for their lives on Earth. "It was almost like a boot camp," she said. She also remembered conversing with a mentor who was 'a very highly evolved spiritual being' who had transcended their life cycles on Earth. Dolahan then explained that she felt her 'essence' become anxious as she approached the moment in which she would enter another human life, asking the spiritual guide "Do I really have to go" before being pushed into a 'vortex' to begin her next lifetime.
LIFE BETWEEN LIVES When Dr. Michael Newton, began regressing his clients back in time to access their memories of former lives, he had some of them talk about what they were doing between lifetimes. "NOSSO LAR" (OUR HOME) AND PRE-LIFE PLANNING
The popular Brazilian movie "Nosso Lar" (also called Astral City or Our Home) is based on the work of the incredible medium Chico Xavier.
