GOOD
NEWS FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN RELIGION After
some 30 years researching the afterlife, I can confidently
relate to you that belief in religion is not essential
to enter the Third Level of the Light on crossing over.
We consistently receive information that as long as you
are a reasonable person who shows kindness to others,
who lives what we call "a good life", you will
find yourself in a very pleasant, refined version of your
life on earth.
Many people who follow the spirit of love, which is at
the heart of all religions, can find community, inspiration,
and motivation from their religious practices. But they
will get to the Light, not because
of their beliefs, but because what they DID during their
life on earth.
What is important when you cross over is your state of
consciousness. The more you can develop a sense of empathy
and connection with others, with nature, with all-that-is,
the more expanded your consciousness will be. Some people
gain this from their religion - some from meditation.
Others arrive at it from working for the environment or
with animals, through art or music or science or by developing
technology to aid humanity.
SCIENCE, SKEPTICS AND THE STUDY
OF CONSCIOUSNESS In this video John Cleese
is interviewing Dr.
Edward F. Kelly about current issues regarding scientific
inquiry into the nature of consciousness. They discuss
science, skeptics and the study of consciousness. Dr.
Kelly's recent books include "Irreducible
Mind" and "Beyond
Physicalism".
TEACHING DOCTORS ABOUT NDES
John C. Hagan III, MD is an ophthalmologist
who has published more than 140 scientific articles and
designed several surgical instruments. He is the editor
of "The Journal of the Missouri State Medical Association".
He is also the author of a wonderful book on 'The
Science of Near-Death Experiences'. He writes:
"I gave another lecture today at University of Missouri-Kansas
City Lakewood Hospital to a standing-room-only crowd of
physicians and students. The message of how to recognize
NDE and support the patient and their family was well
received. This is the 8th hospital I've given the NDE
(lecture). The lecture is based on the medical text 'The
Science of Near-Death Experiences.' I have no financial
interest in the sale of the book. About 10% of the physicians
by show of hand had had a patient report an NDE." Bravo
John for this wonderful work.
WHAT DO WE REALLY KNOW ABOUT
DYING?
Crossing borders physically, emotionally, culturally,
artistically -- all these aspects were widely explored
on the 23rd of November by an array of international,
truly inspirational speakers that received standing
ovations from an electrified audience.
GROWING OLDER WITH KNOWLEDGE
OF SPIRITUAL REALITIES Multidimensional
Man, Jurgen Ziewe, author of the wonderful book
on consciousness exploration, 'The
Ten Minute Moment', writes:
"Curious things
begin to develop throughout life when you embark on
the path which will ultimately unite you again with
the source that created you. As consciousness expands,
via your daily meditation, bliss expands with every
year you grow older, once your identity of self is no
longer centered around your body or your ego. Instead
of growing older, more weary, you grow younger and more
inspired. New energy may inspire you to go to the gym,
enjoy a healthy diet, focus on the Creative, the growth
rather than the retiring, the shutting down and contracting.
This way life will expand and every day will offer greater
joy, will fill you with new amazement and mystery. This
way, when you are 120, you won’t look a day over
eighty, perhaps even seventy. I am in my seventies now
and regard each day as the first day and a new beginning
of an infinite future because I already know there is
no end, so why invent one."
MEDIUM JOE HIGGINS ON WHAT CHILDREN
IN SPIRIT WOULD LIKE THEIR BEREAVED PARENTS TO KNOW
Joseph
M. Higgins was our guest on the Zoom Afterlife Global
Gathering last Sunday and gave us a fascinating talk
about the things children in spirit have been telling
him that they wish their parents knew.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE WONDERFUL
DREAMS? Do you have
a question about dreams? Our topic for next Sunday's
Global Gathering will be lucid dreaming. A lucid dream
is any dream during sleep in which you become aware
that you're dreaming, which means you're able to control
the content. To lead the discussion, medium and psychotherapist
August
Goforth, author of The
Risen books, will tell us about his experiences
of spirit contact and what he calls 'Tangible
Dreaming' - a special kind of lucid dream.

LUCID DREAMS FOR BEGINNERS
"It's extremely helpful to start
a dream journal. Keep it close by your bed at night,
and write down your dreams immediately after waking
up. Write down as many details as you can remember.
This will train you to remember more of your dreams.
Another thing to do is to perform reality checks frequently.
Every few hours during the day, ask yourself "Am I dreaming?".
With enough practice, you'll start following the habit
in your dreams as well."

WHY DO WE FORGET OUR PAST LIVES?
Christian Sundberg has a unique perspective
because he remembers in detail his pre-birth planning
and accepting the 'veil of forgetfulness' before this
incarnation. Although he appreciates the incredible
opportunity of this lifetime he misses "home".
QUESTION ABOUT THE OUIJA BOARD Jenny from Seattle writes:
"Victor, last week you quoted medium Char Margolis
saying that the ouija board is dangerous. But the Seth
books were written as a result of ouija communications."
Victor: Yes Jenny, the ouija board
has a very mixed reputation. There have been some extraordinary,
positive communications as you say. But there are also
many cases reported by mediums and psychic researchers
of people having very negative experiences with them.

CYRUS KIRKPATRICK CRITIQUES A
SUMMARY OF THE ASTRAL WORLD Professor
Stafford Betty has produced an
excellent breakdown of what
the afterlife is like according to Spiritualist
sources. In this video, Cyrus
Kirkpatrick looks at the first ten of Professor
Betty's points from the perspective of his own out-of-body
experiences. See more of Cyrus' excellent video talks
on his Youtube
channel.
WHAT REALLY COUNTS WHEN YOU CROSS
OVER? Directly from the
afterlife from a highly credible afterlife teacher.
"It is what you do that matters and believe me
- believe this if you believe nothing else - if you
have helped one soul to find the light, if you have
given food to one who was hungry or drink to one who
was thirsty, if you have helped to ease the burden on
someone's shoulders and to smooth the stones in front
of their path, that is more important than all the wealth
in your world." (Silver Birch, The
Seed of Truth, p.121, 'ed.1989).
DO ANIMALS HAVE EMOTIONS? DO THEY FEEL EMPATHY? Any
pet owner (or indeed anyone who has close contact with
animals of all kinds) knows that the answer is ''of
course''. In this video a four-month-old dog, Luna,
seems transfixed by the emotional scene in the movie
'The Lion King' in which Simba reacts to the death of
his father, Mufasa. Luna seemed to fully understand
what was happening on the screen, whimpering in response
and lying down at the same time as Simba lay next to
his father.
1) "I am no more my body than I
am my car. When they both wear out I abandon them and
move on with my life. The only way to learn to drive
a car is by getting behind the wheel and driving one,
and the only way to really know what it feels like to
"drive" a body is by getting in one and controlling
it." Art
2) "With deepest gratitude and
love for this wonderful gift you and Wendy give us every
week. Thank you so much!" Maria
3) "Couldn't agree more about the
ouija board. Also, that ABBA song always makes me tear
up. You both do a wonderful job each week." Trisha

CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF DORIS
DAY
As many of you know, Doris Day crossed over this week
at the age of 97. She made the 'unusual' request for
"no funeral or memorial service and no grave marker”.
Those of us of a certain age grew up to a background
of Doris Day's music and sunny smile. But above and
beyond her success in Hollywood, what stands out about
her is her grace and courage in very handling difficult
life circumstances and her
activism for animal welfare.
Whilst we encourage and we publish many papers and reports
by afterlife researchers, we are not in a position to
guarantee the accuracy of all claims. We accept the
imputed claim that the afterlife and paranormal research
reported by the researchers is done in good faith. ALL
