COMMENTARY: SALUTING AFTERLIFE
RESEARCHERS For more
than 150 years a number
of courageous sensitives, scientists and psychic researchers
have set out to use scientific method to investigate
the evidence for the afterlife. In the face of opposition
from religion, materialist science and the popular press
they have investigated death-bed visions, healing, telepathy,
clairvoyance and precognition. They have spent decades
sitting with, and testing, physical mediums, trance
mediums and mental mediums. Many developed the ability
to become mediums themselves. Some had out-of-body experiences.
Collectively they have confirmed the findings of every
culture that has ever existed on Earth - that our life

we are featuring today, is Dr. Robert Crookall, D.Sc.,
PhD. He was amazed at the
consistency of the evidence coming from thousands of
different afterlife contacts in every country and continent
– from Brazil, from England, from South Africa,
from Tibet, from Europe, from India and from Australia.
He was also amazed at the consistency of the evidence
coming from different areas of research, especially
from out-of-body experiences on which he became an authority.
DR. ROBERT CROOKALL EXPLAINS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DIE
In his book The
Supreme Adventure published in 1961, Dr.
Robert Crookall analyzed significant communications
from the spirit world which were available from a wide
variety of written sources, primarily through mediums.
This was a fantastic achievement, especially at a time
before word processors and the internet. The collective
results are:
1) an afterlife description with a high degree of credibility
because so many sources contributed the same information
even though they were independently produced
2) strong evidence for the existence of an afterlife
for the same reason--an intellectually consistent set

THE SCIENTIFIC FINDINGS OF GEORGE MEEK In
the 1980's George Meek conducted a 10- year self-funded
investigation of evidence for the afterlife
with special attention to a new and emerging area, electronic
communication with other dimensions. In this lecture,
recorded in Colorado in 1991 at the International Forum
On New Science, George discusses his findings on life
after death. He describes the different dimensional
levels or planes, his Out Of Body Experiences (OBE or
OOBE) and the messages that were trans-dimensionally
transmitted to him via computer text from his deceased
wife Jeannette. Finally he describes the groundbreaking
Instrumental Trans-Communication (ITC) experiences he
had with William O'Neil and the Spiricom device.
THE MAGIC OF
MATERIALIZATIONS As well as investigating
electronic communication, George Meek personally investigated,
and validated, physical mediumship. He attended seances
in Brazil and sat with direct voice medium Leslie Flint
in England. In his book After
We Die, What Then?,
Meek references the work of Prof. Richet (pictured left)
who conducted
experiments in physical mediumship in France. Baron
Schrenck Notzing in Phenomena
of Materialization sums up hundreds of experiments
in period up to 1923 which were conducted and witnessed
by eminent men and women of science.
DR. ANABELA CARDOSO'S TRIBUTE
TO FATHER FRANCOIS BRUNE
Dr. Cardoso is a former Portuguese
diplomat, a linguist and founder of a shelter for abandoned
animals. She is also a very successful experimenter
with instrumental transcommunication and founder of
'The ITC Journal'.
Her book 'Electronic
Contact with the Dead: What do the Voices Tell Us?'
sums up 20 years of radio direct voice ITC and is a
must-read for anyone new to the field of afterlife research.
FATHER BRUNE'S COURAGEOUS DECISION According
to Dr. Cardoso, afterlife researcher Father Francois
Brune's life was focused on the teachings and ethics
of Jesus. She says that, although he was a leading Catholic
theologian, "he was a severe critic of the present
day Catholic Church". She claims that it was because
of his love for original Christian principles that in
the last months of his life he "renounced the Catholic
faith and adopted the Orthodox one." He was buried
last week in Paris, in a beautiful
ceremony at the Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Trinity.

great 19th century medium,

Stainton Moses wrote that sometimes when he was
receiving "automatic writing" he would find
himself outside his body "standing in spirit near
