COMMENTARY:
IS THERE A GOD? THE WORLD'S MOST IMPORTANT
QUESTION It just does
NOT make sense for the atheistic skeptical scientist
to say that the whole of the universe came by 'chance',
that the trillions of galaxies, stars, planets, solar
systems, gravity - all showing incredible order and
intelligence - created themselves. Although this is
the viewpoint, based purely on speculation, that is
taught to young science students as fact, there are
a number of eminent physicists, astronomers, and cosmologists
who disagree.
One of them is Dr. Bernard Haisch, an eminently qualified
astrophysicist who believes in the existence of God
- not the religious God portrayed as an old man with
long white beard, but a consciousness that has become
the universe to experience itself.
His book 'The
God Theory' claims to show how you can and should
be "a rational, science-believing human being and,
at the same time, know that you are an immortal spiritual
being, a spark of God." He claims to be putting
forward "a world view that offers a way out of
the hate and fear-driven violence engulfing the planet."
BERNARD HAISCH'S
'PROOF
OF GOD' In an effort
to make his argument more easily understood by a popular
audience Dr. Haisch joined with best-selling author
Ptolemy Tompkins to write 'Proof
of God' (2017). It is structured as a very personal
discussion between a curious writer (Tompkins) and a
scientist (Haisch) who sets forth the argument that,
far from having disproved God’s existence, science
has increasingly shown that God is, in fact, the best
explanation so far found for the universe and everything
in it.

CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORKS SHAPE PERCEPTION The

JURGEN ZIEWE'S DISCOVERY ABOUT
THE OM
Out-of-body experiencer, Jurgen
Ziewe, tells of an experience he had in 2012 when,

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE CHANGES THE
LIFE OF RUSSIAN ATHEIST SCIENTIST Dr.
George Rodonaia was a psychiatric researcher who worked
for the KGB and later became a dissident. He was a scientist
trained in materialism and did not believe in God. When
he attempted to leave Russia, he was run down by the
KGB, pronounced dead and taken to the morgue for three
days. He returned to life during his own autopsy. When
he left his body he went into a world of light and love
and found out that God exists. He then became an ordained
priest in the Eastern Orthodox Church.
VERIDICAL ASPECTS OF HIS EXPERIENCE PMH
Atwater documented two fascinating examples of Dr. Rodonaia's
ability to see things while out of his body that were
later proved to be correct. One of them later proved
quite embarrassing to his wife, to the extent that she

THE SPIRITIST RELIGIONS OF BRAZIL
Here Stanley Krippner discusses the three
main Spiritist religions of Brazil: Candomblé,
Umbanda,
and Kardecismo. Candomblé and Umbanda are, essentially,
variations of the African Yoruba tradition. The African
slaves in Brazil incorporated Catholic Saints into their
religion in order to disguise the fact that they were
still worshipping the deities of their homeland. The
Kardecismo tradition was imported from Europe, based
on the spiritist writings of the French pedagogue, Allan
Kardec. Krippner describes his own research with spiritist
mediums of these traditions, pointing out that when
they incorporated spiritual entities measurable changes
occurred in their physiology.
THE BRILLIANT MEDIUMSHIP OF ALEC
HARRIS
Alec Harris was a superb Welsh materialization medium
who died in 1974. During the production of materialized
spirit forms, Alec's spirit guides usually took him
into a deep trance, and the sitters were able to see
him clearly sitting on his chair (bound hand and foot)

in good red light while the materialized people walked
