COMMENTARY:
IS BEING 'SPIRITUAL' DIFFERENT FROM BEING 'RELIGIOUS'?
A very good, highly religious person I know, says that
he
expects to get a high place in heaven because he prays
every day and attends church services seven days a week.
You can imagine the shock he received when I informed
him that it is not the way things work. Just seconds
after you die, I told him, it is your accumulated 'level
of spirituality' that will determine where you will
end up not how 'religious' you have been!
Being religious is about participating
in religious rituals, obeying dogmas and following established
teachings. That in itself does not make you more spiritual,
does not raise the vibrations of your spirit-etheric
body. To be spiritual is to be loving and to do selfless
service. Of course it is possible for one to be religious
and spiritual at the same time if the religion emphasises
love of all and organises opportunities for selfless
service.
But those religionists who fight for their religion
and harm innocent people, are being totally misled.
Being spiritual means you are always positive, always
unselfishly helping others - and every time you do that
you are raising your soul vibrations, increasing your

such an impassioned animal lover...people, not so much.
;) anyways, Ms. Mackinnon stated that animals are on earth,
as our teachers. i do understand how domesticated pets
could be that to us...but Victor, do you think she was
alluding to wild animals as well? after all, man has minimal
to no contact with wild animals...so how would we learn
from them? that said, it was no surprise to me at all,
that animals are as spiritual as they are...pure souls
