COMMENTARY: SPIRITUALITY AND RELIGION
The Middle East religious wars inevitably
raise the issue of religion and spirituality. Participating
in religious wars does not develop one's spirituality
- notwithstanding the promise of rewards of multiple
virgins for dying for your beliefs. Highly credible
information transmitted from afterlife teachers tell
us that what determines where you go when you die is
the level of your spirituality NOT how religious you
think you have been.
Spirituality is when
you, with the right motive, unselfishly DO something
to help others. You are making the world a better place
when you do that. But being just 'religious' - attending
church services everyday, participating in man-made
theology - that does not make you spiritually evolved.
So, the very important lesson is to perform unselfish
spiritual work - and guaranteed that will expand your
consciousness and help you to get to the realm of the
Light.
