COMMENTARY: PERSONAL EXPERIENCE THE ULTIMATE PROOF? There many people who, just like me, have themselves EXPERIENCED the afterlife. Like many others, I am very fortunate to be 'clairaudient' - able to hear voices from the afterlife dimension. My own parents using their own voices as they sounded when they were on earth - and others came through. This kind of personal experience is very powerful. And there are millions of other people around the world who have had personal experience. Millions of people have had near-death experiences. Many more have had out of body experiences. And researchers have show that more than 50% of people who lose a loved one experience some kind of after death communication. For most people these kinds of personal experiences are the ultimate proof for the existence of the afterlife.

Good mediums are able to add an additional level of verification to direct experiences. Wendy and I have been fortunate enough to be members of David Thompson's Circle of the Silver Cord and have regular direct communication with afterlife intelligences. William, the medium's spirit guide, often talks to us and answers questions. On other occasions William actually materializes, walks around us, touches us and converses with us. The personal experience, no doubt, is the ultimate afterlife proof most people seek.

SIX SKEPTICAL FALLACIES: number 4
DETECTING SKEPTICAL BALONY:
4. 'Self-serving statement' (or 'begging the question'): here is a statement made by Prof. Carl Sagan which we in the legal profession call a self-serving statement. Others call it "begging the question".

Sagan said, "People pay attention to these puerile (silly) marvels mainly because they promise something like old-time religion, but especially life after death, even life eternal."

Sagan was referring to a quote given by Jim Schnabel philosophising about the afterlife. What he said was just personal opinion which is not supported by evidence. The statement serves his prejudices, his bias, his partiality, his beliefs. Balanced against Sagan's negative self-serving fallacy, supporters of Jim Schnabel would claim that he, Schnabel, is a highly gifted remote-viewer and his brilliant and stunning book about remote viewing gives evidence for his paranormal skills and authority for saying what he said. BBC HORIZON- THE CASE FOR PSYCHIC ABILITIES
This 1983 video contains an excellent overview of systematic scientific investigation into remote viewing. At 3.00 a very young Professor Charles Tart states:
"The majority of the scientific community doesn't believe in the existence of psychic phenomena and I'm afraid that just demonstrates that the majority of the scientific community is simply ignorant." Great stuff. Watch here.

PSYCHIC ESPIONAGE: QUESTION : In your last week newsletter you stated that highly gifted psychics would be able to detect traitors in their intelligence organization. Could you give a couple of examples from recent history to support that?

Victor: I will give you three classic examples, two from the United States and one from the U.K.: 1) in the U.S. - the 'most deadly traitor' Aldrich Ames (right of picture) was the head of the counter espionage when he betrayed the American people, betrayed the trust given to him by the CIA director. He was responsible for the killing by the KGB of many CIA spies. Second: An American working for the FBI, Robert Hanssen (left of picture, above), who spied for the Russians was described as "possibly the worst intelligence disaster in U.S. history." In the UK, one group, the 'Cambridge Five': Donald McLean, Kim Philby, Guy Burgess, Anthony Blunt, and John Cairncross (see picture, left) - all spied for Russia, inflicted huge damage on to the UK and the Western powers. Now, if the Directors of the CIA and the FBI and the Head of M15 had highly gifted psychics, they would have been informed about the spies - and how to catch them 'in the act'. But the negative prejudice against the paranormal at the time was too deeply entrenched. Guaranteed, had spy-chiefs had highly gifted super-psychics to advise the Heads of intelligence agencies, there would have been no traitors like Aldrich Ames, Robert Hanssen and certainly no 'Cambridge Five'.




BRILLIANT PROFESSOR ERNST SENKOWSKI has been investigating the field of Instrumental Transcommunication since 1974. A professional physicist, Dr Senkowski was a scientific research fellow at the Institute of Physics at the Mayence University and UNESCO expert for physics at the National Research Center of Cairo, Egypt. MY HUSBAND DOES NOT ACCEPT THE AFTERLIFE
This question of a husband - or a family member or some other person close to you - not believing in the afterlife and thinking that you are crazy or something like that has been asked many times. Indeed this was one of the reasons we decided to write the book featured at the top of the page. At the time we were attending many spiritual groups and found that often one partner in a relationship was more intuitive and open than the other. Read more....

IMPORTANT: THE POWER OF 'ATTACHMENT' - In the spiritual-afterlife context, 'attachment' is - a powerful psychological bond - a connection - to a physical or abstract thing. It is like very strong 'addiction' - but in this sense a very powerful attachment. It very important, most critical to understand. In the afterlife context, this is where some people are 'attached' to the strong belief there is no afterlife. This is important because a powerful 'attachment' could very well determine how one ends up - or down - in the afterlife. The scientific terminology for 'attachment' is 'cathexis'. This is a problem for those whose attachment prevents them from accepting the afterlife. Intelligence, reasonableness, science usually will not break psychological 'attachment'. The Buddhists were the first to raise this attachment problem hundreds of years ago. That's why the Buddhists say to 'remove all 'attachments' before crossing-over'. But, unfortunately, attachment (cathexis), still lingers on even when we cross over - and could prevent them from accessing the level of the LIght.

8. The Christian Inquisitors in Malleus Maleficarum .."Because the female sex is more concerned with things of the flesh than men.."
9. At the Council of Trent - directed by the Vatican, a motion was put that "Women had no soul." Of the hundreds attended, the motion was lost by seven votes!

TRUST WIKIPEDIA ON THE PARANORMAL? THINK AGAIN. Wikipedia is quick and easy and an excellent starting point for some subjects. But for anything to do with science outside the mainstream steer clear. Robert McLuhan has recently drawn attention to the phenomenon of guerrilla skeptics, who devote a great deal of time and energy to modifying Wikipedia entries so that they reflect a skeptical point of view about psychic phenomena, and try to portray research on these subjects as pseudoscience.
