ABOUT RELIGION - What
did Jesus really teach?.: Victor, I'm
not a Christian - and I read a lot of different
stories about what Jesus taught. What were the
main things that Jesus taught? Terri.

from the New Testament, about what Jesus taught:
1. "Belief in the afterlife.
2.Thou shalt do no murder,
3.Thou shalt not commit adultery,
4. Thou shalt not steal,
5. Thou shalt not bear false witness,
6. Honor thy father and mother, and
7.Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."
...... So notice very carefully, Jesus never
said you must be baptized or that you have to
believe that he was the Second person of the
Trinity to enter 'heaven', Jesus never said
you must believe in the Bible to go to 'heaven'
or that the Bible is the inspired word of God.
Jesus did not say
you have to attend Church service on Sunday,
or that you must not remarry if you divorced
your partner. No, he did NOT say anything like
that. So, as Arthur Findlay says, what right
does the Church have to add further conditions
