Professor Hans Dieter Betz in 1986
to conduct a quarter of a million dollar research

blind study involved over 40 dowsers and included

I have been thinking exactly the same
things in regard to his approach. It's
interesting how he carefully chooses his
debating opponents for full impact of
promoting his message, by having the public
witness the tongue-tied response of those
who are usually somewhat ill-equipped
to provide satisfying, convincing arguments
against his own. Sadly this gives the
viewers the impression he is inarguably
correct in his conclusions, leading many
astray. In effect, he is removing the
ability of the basic individual to think
for themselves, by providing a form of
false closure on the topic. Keep up the
