COMMENTARY: WHAT IS THE BEST EVIDENCE THAT THE AFTERLIFE EXISTS? In our opinion, the best evidence for the afterlife is the evidence that you experience personally when you need it most. For some people, it's lights flashing on and off on request, or a coin left where you know that there was nothing. Most frequently, it's a dream or a vision between sleeping and waking where the loved one appears looking younger and radiant and tells you that they are fine.
For many, it's a reading with an evidential medium who is able to bring through details that nobody else could know. Sometimes the loved ones in spirit can slow down their vibrations so that they can be directly sensed by you directly without a medium. For a few precious seconds, you may receive the touch of a hand, a hug, or the smell of their aftershave. You may even be fortunate enough to see them briefly.
Much more rare are reunions through physical mediumship, a gift so rare that most people have never heard of it. Michael Tymn described the experience that John King, a Toronto physician, had in a sitting with Joseph Jonson, a physical medium from Toledo, Ohio. King reported 19 separate materialisations in one night. He observed spirits coming from the materialization cabinet, greeting loved ones, embracing them, talking with them, etc. His deceased wife, May, was the eleventh to materialize. She embraced him, spoke to him about personal matters, and dematerialized right into the floor in front of him. (Read more details in Michael Tymn's article).
While having a reunion through a physical medium is an incredibly rare event today, spirits seem to be devising other ways to make their presence felt. A huge number of people are having reunions through near-death experiences, out-of-body experiences, electronic voice phenomena (EVP), instrumental transcommunication (ITC), and guided and self-guided afterlife connections.

It contains more than 1800 recent cases from all over the world. It also has information about grief and life after death.

VALIDATING AFTER-DEATH COMMUNICATIONS In one study of 1,667 after-death communications by the researcher Dr. Ken R. Vincent, around a fifth were found to be “evidential”, with three different types of evidence.
First, there were experiences in which a person sensed or saw (often in a dream) the death of a person and found out shortly afterward that they had died.
Second, some experiences provided evidence that was later confirmed.
Thirdly, Vincent found that in some cases the experiences happened to more than one person. Read more.
AVIATORS AND THE AFTERLIFE- A DOCUMENTARY BY DR. KEITH PARSONS This 51st documentary from Plausible Pictures features afterlife communications from nine deceased people, seven of whom were pilots in the First and Second World Wars. Two of the main characters featured here were not flyers themselves: the RAF's Sir Hugh Dowding, Air Chief Marshall of Fighter Command in the Battle of Britain; and Leslie Flint the most tested and successful direct-voice medium that Britain has ever produced.
CLAUDE'S BOOK The first source mentioned in Keith Parsons' video (above) was Claude
Kelway-Bamber's "Claude's Book" which came from the deceased Claude's conversations with his mother through one of the most tested trance mediums that ever lived, Mrs. Osborne Leonard. It is a fascinating book that begins with Claude waking up in a hospital ward in the Afterlife and then being taken to visit his mother where he stands at the end of her bed. It goes on to describe many aspects of the Spirit World - a bit like the well-known Life in the World Unseen.
One interesting thing is that Claude supported the reality of reincarnation at a time (1919) when most English Spiritualists were opposed to it. Download the book in PDF.
WHAT IS A HOME CIRCLE? Home circles or "development circles" are the traditional way that "the gifts of the spirit" are developed in Spiritualism. A group of between 6 and 8 people meet weekly and sit together in a circle, usually in total darkness, in a small room with very little furniture, for about an hour. They chat quietly, sing together or sometimes sit and listen to music. Sometimes they communicate with spirit using table tipping. Neal Rzepkowski, MD, the leader of The Harmonic Fellowship of Light circle a spiritual development circle in Lily Dale, New York, is featured in the video below showing table tipping in fully light.
HOW TO DEVELOP A HOME CIRCLE
"The critical thing is to choose people who are in total harmony with each other and who share a common motivation to develop spiritually and help others. They must be extremely patient and willing to put the circle first - before holidays, outings, or other commitments. Never allow skepticism, fear, or negativity to enter your mind. Assume there will be positive results. Always start with a prayer for protection and finish with a prayer of thanks. When you create conditions for the spirit to make contact, you will be contacted in some way or another.
